Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ

The dashing Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ was manufactured by Alfa Romeo of Italy between 1963 and 1937. It was designed by Ercole Spade at Zagato with a FR layout. It was classified as a small sports car and it was offered in the body style of a 2-door coupe. Powertrain for the TZ was a 1.6 L DOHC IE and it was mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Its other mechanical parts were shared with Alfa Romeo Giulia.  

The wheelbase of the car was 86.6 inches; length was 155.5 inches, width 59.4 inches and height47.2 inches. These measurements varied with the TZ2 model.

The TZ weighed a mere 660kg and the TZ2 a 620kg. The car was built on a tubular chassis, thus making it lighter compared to the models it shared its technical specifications. The small engine was able to achieve a top speed of 216 km/h and the TZ was purpose built as a street car and as well as racing trim.
